Not always. While our C-Slim Ma series can reach extreme levels, we recommend a tiered approach. High-noon direct sun sites benefit from 8,000-10,000 nits to maintain contrast. However, for many urban or north-facing sites, 6,000-7,500 nits provides excellent visibility while further reducing power consumption and extending the LED lifespan.
